Spotlight: Under the rocks

Shore crab (Cyclograpus punctatus).

These critters are found all along South Africa’s shoreline and like to hide under boulders along the upper zones of the rocky shores. They are mainly nocturnal scavengers that feed on various organic matter. This little guy was found in a rock pool within Cape Point reserve 🦀🦀🦀
